Hello, everyone! Have you had a good Easter with lots of choccie eggs? Weather has been mixed, here, at the Secret, overcast, a little bit of sun, and, now today, drizzle and rain.. But..my guests have enjoyed their stay with welcoming snow , walks in Dovedale and on Kinder Scout, walking the Tissington and Monsal Trails and closer to home, climbing Robin Stride Rocks. Finishing off with a superb meal at East Lodge. Great.
So, what has been happening here,at the Secret? We have taken on a new gardener, Ben hasbeen busy painting and putting up signs ( remember, the wind blew the other one down ). Strimming is due to start shortly. And the dew pond? Don’t know what to do about that.. The deer seem to be behaving themselves at presant. Flower tubs due to be planted up if the weather improves and the geraniums need to wait awhile. The wind blew the roof off an outbuilding, another job for Ben
Ben rescued me from asnow drift on Thursday. Thanks Ben !
